Unwrapping dvds

7 October 2004 193 views One Comment

Unwrapping all the plastic and security stickers of a dvd is a pain! Why on earth do they need so much security around it???? is it made out of gold? I swear a diamond watch would has less wrapping around the box!!! if the dvd is something that u buy for leisure, for entertainment, the unnesscary unwrapping part is tolerable because u can give what u like in the end, but doing it for the job to unwrapping 20 dvds that the library ordered for the collection, now that’s NO FUN AT ALL!!! Especially those dvds ain’t even good movies or good documentaries~ ugh, i was so annoyed just unwrapping the entire morning, plus my fingers were in pain~ and when I am all done with the unwrapping that’s when the real job actually started! I have to do the long boring process of getting them into the collection~ I dunno which is “better”~ doing that or find out that I might have to teach a sesssion for a class next week….I was hoping the teaching part of my job would come much later in the semester, not now when I just started~ Eventhough I don’t have a problem with teaching or talking in front of a class~ but still it’s kinda nerve-wrecking~ especially no detail has been given about what I need to teach the students about the research~ but we’ll see what happen, it’s not definite yet~

Oh Gawd. I feel your pain. That is awful.

And a good point too. So unnecessary. Don’t they know that people steal the movies and music off the INTERNET, not at the store anymore!?! The wrapping is a bit excessive. Makes me want to go steal music. j/k
