So the rumor is flying high this weekend about Apple will switch from using IBM to using Intel chips for its computers~ Both C|net and WSJ reported it as if it’s a truth instead of a rumor, so therefore this time around the rumor fly much much higher than any other time! I personally is neutral about Intel, so even if they switch I wouldn’t mind, but switching from PowerPC chips to x86 chips just doesn’t make sense at all since if it’s true the entire Mac community will be upside down, every software, hardware will need to re-tool re-complie and redesign~ not to mention no one will buy their current computers since it’s gonna be switch over and no new softwares or updates will be written to the current computers as well~ It’s a huge deal and it’s a scary thought, but in any case, we won’t know the truth until tomorrow when Steve take center stage, hopefully all the mystery will be solved~
