5G ipods and new iMac

I don’t think I talked about Apple’s new products unveiled last Wednesday yet~ I should do so before they unveil another batch of new products tomorrow~ Last week the main focus of the show was the video-enabled ipod~ To me it has the same position as the moto’s itunes phone, just not good compared to what was being unveiled at the same time – the nano. Well this time around, it’s the iMac that steal the show. Wait a minute it’s not a fair comparsion, i mean the video-enabled ipod is much much better than the moto itunes phone, but it’s not what I need for the moment, cos all it has is a bigger screen, slimmer body, and can play video~ The first two would be something that I like, the video part, well, it’s not so important. If they up the capacity to 80GB or above, I would really consider it, but since it’s still 60GB, it’s not much different than my 60GB ipod photo~ so yeah, i think i’ll wait for next year when it’s 80GB or above.

iMac is always the next computer I want, you can check my past posts about it. The surprise update this time around really makes me jump~ I like the isight, and now it’s part of the iMac; the Remote control?! Front Row interface?! damn it’s just good~ and a slimmer case is always welcomed. So when will I get one? sadly, i think i would retain the same schedule as before – not until the second half of next year when it’s intel inside~ cos it’s a time thing, i can’t justify buying another mac when my Powerbook is not even 8 months old – barely a full grow baby, plus I just don’t have the money this year~ so right now all i can do is continue to starring at it at the apple site.
