Holiday Blues – You’re really gone this time~

11 January 2006 152 views No Comment

The holidays of 2005 passed by without me even noticing. Okay, let me explain, not that I don’t know the holidays was there, I did went to both a X’mas dinner and a New Years dinner with my friends. It’s just that the holidays was usually very tough to get through for me because I would get all these incredible holiday blues. It makes me feel every single minute of the holidays in the worst possible way. It’s so dreadful that every year the holidays just felt long and slow. 2005 is a bit different. Maybe because of the extra eventful month of the HK trip, the transit strike, and the fact that i was pretty much on vacation the whole month, I just didn’t feel the blues. I think it’s probably because I felt really good at what I accomplished in a year, i was in such a good mood that I am wasn’t feeling down as usual.
Here’s another example of the holiday passed by without me noticing. Ever since things go so totally wrong with B, and I know there’s nothing I can do about it, but at the time I still make a mental note to myself that I would send him the shortest email possible for his birthday and X’mas. It would be just a sentence of either happy birthday or merry x’mas and that is it. I didn’t want him to think I want to meet him again or anything, it was just to show that I valued what we used to have and I still wish him well after all. Well let me tell you, X’mas comes and goes and I didn’t remember to send anything until after the new years!! And after the new years it’s pretty much a moo point to send anything. It just prove that, wow, he hasn’t come cross in my mind for a while. It’s finally over, all that left is just a sad history I would remind myself not to repeat again. I am glad this chapter is now officially closed.
