I know I am a bit late on this, but this piece of news does concern me a whole lot, so I am here expressing how shameful I feel for New york! You would think of all the places in the United States, New York’s court would be the one that follows the example of Mass., instead it went 180 degree the opposite direction. Will Mayor Boomberg kept his promise and start his lobbying of changing the state law to allow gay marriage? Will the next new governor of NY do something about it? With 3 of NY’s neighboring states and a country allowing gay marriage or civil union (Mass., Vermont, Connecticut, and Canada), New York will be looking increasing out of touch from the region. All eyes will turn to New Jersey for next’s month’s similar court decision – and if NJ have a favorable ruling for gay marriage – NY will be the only state left out in the Tri-state area!! this is just insane, cos of all the Northeastern states, NY is the most logical place to allow it!!!!
