Apple issued a recall for the batteries of ibook and powerbook. I am unfortunately one of the affected user. Actually, think about it, it’s not unfortunate at all! I will have a brand new battery!! woohoo! Besides, the exchange process is painless, just fill out the form on the website, they will send me a new battery, then I just use the same package to send my old one in. It’s as easy as it gets. If I am one of those brave ones, I would continue to use my old battery while I am waiting for the new one from the mail~ but I don’t want to have a one out of a million chance of battery explosion, so for now, it’s just power adapter. It’s fine, I use my laptop at home and at work mostly, and I can plug it in easily. Just you won’t see me sitting in a wi-fi cafe for a little while~
