Finally another wave of new subway train is coming soon!! MTA is testing the new R160 train on the N and Q line for a 30 day trial. If all goes well there will be 660 cars by 2008. My normal commute mostly involves with the 4, 5, 6 and L. they are all using the new trains R142 and R143. My usual rides are pretty pleasant with the exception of the G and the 7 trains. I doubt these two lines will get these new trains anytime soon since one is run entirely outside of manhattan and the other one is mainly in queens with 3 stops in manhattan. But I guess it’s still a good news to the Yellow Letter Lines passengers, I know at least one person who ride the Yellow Letter Lines to work everyday. I wonder if he ever see or even ride this new train?
