Movie Watch List

30 October 2006 150 views No Comment

There are some interesting movies coming out in the next few months. This year there’s no highly anticipated movies like LOTR, Narnia, Harry Potter or King Kong, but they are still worth your attention.

Happy Feet – Who can say no to the cute Penguins?

Flushed Away – another CG animation from Dreamwork, this year there’s just so many of them and it shouldn’t generate too much of an interest, but the voice talent is hard to ignore – Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, but most importantly Sir Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis! yeah, White Wizard and Gollum reunited~ lol

Stranger Than Fiction – Will Ferrell is always great, but this time the concept is just so intriguing, and with awesome supporting cast like always delightful Emma Thompson, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Dustin Hoffman and Queen Latifah, this one looks like a winner!

For Your Consideration – If you like Christopher Guest’s Best In Show and Mighty Wind, you definitely want to catch his newest creation!

The Fountain – a thousand years sci-fi story with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz, how can I miss that?

Eragon – best-selling hottest fantasy novel that was written by a teenager is now a movie, dragon all the way through!

Night at the Museum – Ben Stiller in Museum of Natural History when all exhibits come to life! I love museums! :p

Pan’s Labyrinth – A Spanish film, but with stunning graphic and a out of the world story – think MirrorMask, this film looks like pure magic.

300 – I know this is next March, but just go see the trailer on Apple Quicktime, it’s Sin City meet ancient Greece!
