Tokyo Fiesta

27 October 2006 178 views No Comment

Passed by Grand Central today and went to Tokyo Fiesta in the exhibit hall. You know I wouldn’t miss an event like this! There are two theme dividing the exhibits, traditional and modern.

Traditional, well u know the deal, geisha walking around, traditional japanese musical instruments, craftsmen making sudare, lantern and wood block right on the spot.

As for the modern ones: you have a scary “life-size” (well human size) picture of insect! so clean! so horrible! then there’s interactive TV screen that acts like waves and plant instrument, then there’s my favorite of them all, panorama ball! it’s 3-D 360 degree picture on sphere, which is totally awesome, u can move the sphere around and look at the picture in all angle~

Definitely a cool tiny exhibit to kill time during my lunch break~
