I went to see the Fountain because there hasn’t been a serious Sci-fi film for a while. (not counting all the superheros and horror flicks) The marketing of a thousand years love was kinda cliche but since there’s two very likeable stars – Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz, and it does look very sincere and the theme could potentially be thought provoking.
