A complaint for Mac!

One complain I have for Macs (!!!!) is its limitation for region-coded DVDs. Granted this is not Macs problem, but every DVD playable machines’ problem – including Windows PC, but Windows PC is easily hackable in that regard for you to play DVDs from any regions in the world. While Macs, due to its more superior design, it has more protection put in to prevent people viewing other regions DVDs. It has protection from both the software and hardware side, which make it almost impossible to bypass. (Some older Macs were able to somehow bypass the region protection – unfortunately none of mine can.) I don’t have a lot of other region DVDs, but there’s one set that I always wanted to play on my computer along with my other favorite TV shows – Ally McBeal! I got it from UK, so it’s region 2. I have a region free DVD player that can play it, but now that I have this gorgeous machine sitting in my room, plus I am used to the habit of getting the shows online, I watch all my TV shows on it. Today this idea just come to me, and I can’t believe I never thought of it before. Why not see if anyone put Ally McBeal online? If so I can get the files, play them on my computer just like all the other TV shows!!
Now I am enjoying the show on my gorgeous 24″ computer screen~
