The year is not even over yet but my attention is now focus on March 2007. Why? because there are a few things I am really looking forward to and they are all happening in March of next year. Here’s the scoop:
1) Pleo – the robot dinosaur that I vow to get is scheduled to be relax in March. And looks like the marketing machine is already starting up since a new article about Pleo appeared out of nowhere on Macworld and the pre-order starts December 24!
2) 300 …

I don’t get how fascinating is the character Hannibal Lecter is, I never really cared much about any sequels oe prequels of Silence of the Lambs, yet they keep on making them! This time it’s called Hannibal Rising, apparently focus the younger period of the flesh eating doctor’s life. Normally I wouldn’t care, but when I come across this new I saw the picture of the actor that will be playing the role of young Hannibal Lecter, and with that, I am like WTF and have to …

I went to see the Fountain because there hasn’t been a serious Sci-fi film for a while. (not counting all the superheros and horror flicks) The marketing of a thousand years love was kinda cliche but since there’s two very likeable stars – Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz, and it does look very sincere and the theme could potentially be thought provoking. The director is Darren Aronofsky, he made Pi and Requiem For a Dream, so there’s some indie buzz around him as well, so I was like, let’s …

On Friday I had an action-packed day at work. I came back to work from lunch and i saw this tall bulky black guy standing by the stacks, usually I would go over and see if the person need help to locate book, but since I just come back I wasn’t in the mood to do so, instead I walk over to the storage room to drop off my stuff and head to the bathroom. When I was able to open the door, I heard a sound of …

Finally got a chance to try out Kyotofu in Hell’s Kitchen. This dessert place has the decor that I like (All white and chic, just like my favorite Apple Store), the main sitting area is like a gay spaceship! and everything is awesome there. The spoon is the cutest looking spoon that I have seen yet, it’s like that tool that the doctor use to cover one of your eyes during eyes exam. The waiter is nice and totally cute! I had the black sesame sweet …

I went to MoCCA today. It’s small as expected, as it is hidden in a office building in Soho. And the main attraction to me – the Smurf Village is small as well, but there’s just so many cartoon in the exhibit that it was extremely lovely. When you are in there you are basically walking in a memory lane of all the cartoons that was showed on every Saturday morning all through the years. It’s what I call a fun museum! Highly Recommended.

Scrubs – The premiere of season 6 is awesome when everyone dance to the tunes of Bye Bye Bye ringtone!!! The opening involving the old gays kidnap JD and bring him to Vegas to get married and then he escape to Blue Man Group’s stage is just priceless – and with OK Go as background music, that’s just so fitting! The rest of the ep has some funny moments, but it lacks the fantasy sequence in JD’s head like it used to be, so that suffers …

Everyday I walk through Grand Central and have to deal with “tourists” that are fascinating by the amazing ceiling of the main concourse. I was like, come on! stop staring at the freaking ceiling! watch where you are going!!! don’t block my route to work!!! There are people who are late!!!! Get out of my way!!!!
Well today, I become one of them! why? cos of the holiday kaleidoscope light show in Grand Central! They have pretty light forming all kind of imagery (including lots of taxi, weird!) displayed on …

This time I have a dream about time traveling…(clearly influenced by Heroes’ “Six Month Ago” ep which I watch the night before)I forgot how the dream began, all I know is that I was in 1980 in Hong Kong and I can’t get back to the future. With no way out, I tried to locate me – a few month old baby at the time, and my parents. (You can clearly think of a few problems there, but we’ll address that later.) Anyway, so I found my …
