Philosophy from Lost
Don’t mistake coincidence for fate, a line that appeared twice on Lost, first time through the mouth of Mr. Eko, second time through Locke. That line stuck in my mind because coincidence certain happens a lot in my life, especially when it come to guys. Eventually I come to believe coincidence as a sign after it happened so often. Did the signs ever point me in a good direction? Well, there haven’t have any solid proof for that yet, but I still blindly follow the sign because at least it’s a “direction,” i’ll be lost without it. Don’t mistake coincidence for fate, why not? I asked. To me, coincidence seems too magical to be ignored and just get on with your life. Maybe I am looking into things a little bit too much most of the time, but I can’t help but to think there is more than coincidence.
