Blog Project Production Diary IV

I can proudly announced that the design is pretty much done, save some last minute tweaking and touch up and it’s ready to go live…but you are still not going to see it for at least a few weeks. Why? because this project involves more than one design! Yes, the next new look of the blog will be a switchable design that let you choose the different themes I will have! naturally I need to make more than one theme for it to work. Most of the switchable design websites and blogs out there are kinda lame in the sense that the “switchable” are usually the color background or the color of the font, and everything else remain the same. I for one will try to accomplish something similar to CSS Zen that once you switch theme you will enter an entire different world, so to speak~ For someone who’s not even half informed on CSS, this is insane.

But anyway, as i mentioned the first theme is pretty much done and all it need is some finishing touch. Now the first theme i did was a completely different look and feel to the current theme on the blog. I think my exact words was “very gritty very dark in tone”. Well, what will i do next? If the first theme was a complete opposite of the current one, then the second theme that i will make would be an re-imagination of the current theme! Give it a little spin. When I look at my current theme it looks very nice but it’s on the quiet side. It doesn’t show how vibrant the city really is. I want to change that.
