There is only one store that would treat their customers like rock stars, and that is of course the Apple store. Look at the video here in Cnet where the staffs line up outside the entrance cheering and high-five-ing every customers who walk through the door. It reminded me a year ago they did the same thing when the 5th Ave Store opened – I was there, remember? People offer ask me why I like Apple so much, this is definitely one of the reason why, this is …

I tried very hard not to blog about iPhone today, seriously I don’t want to join the media mania out there. But when I read about this on Cnet I can’t help myself:

Apple store employees are currently at the front of the line leading people in cheers. “When I say ‘i,’ you say ‘phone’!”
Even a Apple fanatic like me got an reaction of “Oy! that’s ridiculous!”~
Anyway, for your information, I am not getting the iPhone for now, I’ll wait til after my birthday for financial reason and also a …

Of all the Harry Potter related things, the video games is probably the one that I am not crazy about. I guess it’s because the previous attempts are all very linear adventure games and some what juvenile. Not so much for the new game Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix. After I saw the trailer of the game and the production diary, I was absolutely stunted by the authentic settings. Hogwarts castle looks awesome! Not only that, the creators said they not only used Book …

Pearl Oyster Bar chef Rebecca Charles sues Ed’s Lobster Bar for copying her menu to the decor and style of her own restaurant.
I’ll say this out loud – I think the plaintiff definitely has the right to sue if she is indeed suffered from a “copycat.” And she should. Who like copycats and knockoffs? We certain call it out if we find any. No matter if it’s software – like Microsoft copying Apple, hardware – lots of chinese manufactured gadgets that look exactly like an ipod, …

Not sure how I missed the first Wiimbledon at Barcade. Not that I am good at Wii Tennis, but it looks like an incredible fun event just to be a spectator in the house! Barcade is always fun with all the retro arcades and people bringing in their own DS and PSP. It’s a bar for the geeks. Also a bar for the girls and guys who want to pick up a geek~ But anyway, check out the fun pictures as many of players dress in costumes. From your average …

I am always frustrated by the way many of the Sci-fi shows here treat the general public. I am not talking about us the audience, but the general public within the show, within their universe. Have you notice they are always being kept in the dark? No matter how many earth shattering events that had happened, no matter how far reaching the events in the shows were, no matter how many times the heroes of the shows save the world. The general public usually have …

I am not sure how Johnny Depp kept a straight face the whole time in this Japanese talk show. Japanese are whacky! In a way those kids are cute, but gee, if some kids glue fake mustache on them, have weapons in their hands, banging the keyboard and do some insane dance. I would probably want to keep a eight feets distance away from them!

There’s always friends in your life that slipped away, either you both were busy and haven’t have time to meet up or even communicate, and by the time you realize it, it’s way too long that it would be awkward to get in touch again. Or even worst would be you phone or email were changed and you can’t found the people ever again no matter how much you tried. But sometimes out of randomness, you can run into them again. For me, it happened once last …

I am so over Express now. For a while I gave them the benefit of a doubt, but seasons after seasons they still continue the same design trend that I don’t like at all. After this weekend’s shopping trip. I finally declare it this shop is over! It just seems like the current designer for Express is obsessive with skulls and lions and put nothing else interesting in their clothes. No matter if it’s a tee or a polo, it’s always skulls or lions with …

Aside from this coming Friday, Pride weekend would always associated with someone who I shouldn’t be thinking of at all. I guess even if the skin is more or less healed, the scar would always be there to remind you the past. Apple and Pixar put out two major events this coming Friday for me, so I am so sure I will be busy and will not have time to think of anything else. But for this weekend, I made sure I keep myself busy.
So this past …
