Some designs come upon you accidentally. Such is the case for my second theme. The second theme looks nothing like I imagined first in my head. But it come out a whole lot better than I ever thought! It took on a cartoonish look that I didn’t expect but the coloring and the style is just so energetic that I quickly go along with it wholeheartedly. Within days I got it finished and move on to my next theme. Yes, there’s a total of 4 themes! For theme #3, it’s a much longer journey. It’s a modern look – minimalist and Web 2.0ish. That’s right, there will be glossy, there will be reflection, and there will be gradient – all your Web 2.0 essential characteristic! And that is exactly where the problem lies because it’s difficult to get those elements right in Photoshop. It become an even more of a challenge when my intention was to merge the characteristics of Web2.0 look to a minimalist monotone look! It’s just really tough to balance it all out and make it look the way I wanted. You can pretty much said it’s stuck in development hell! But I am still confident that all it need is time and skill, I will eventually get the look that I want for this theme and move on to my last theme.
