It’s ridiculously hot outside. Normally I would stay in my all AC environment at home and not going out, but today I have a mission: The more I watch Planet Earth, the more I want to play with animals that was featured in the show! The only way I can do that would be to play Zoo Tycoon 2! (until Scott reminded me that I can also go to a real zoo – but that’s not the same! I can’t have power over the animals in a real zoo!!) Anyway, even though Zoo Tycoon 2 is ported to Mac, but all its expansion packs are not! so I need to install boot camp to run Windows on my mac. But I found out that i need a USB keyboard (at least for the initial setup), so I need to find one – no one has an extra one. My brother told me to just get a cheap one somewhere, but i figure i can’t connect a cheap one to my beloved iMac!! so i end up wanting to buy the Macally IceKey keyboard because it’s using laptop style key and it’s nice! With an objective in mind. I went to Williamsburg because I remember there are two mac reseller there. Both of them don’t carry this keyboard, but here’s what I found in Williamsburg:

1) Finally saw the new enlarged sidewalk on N. 7th street right next to the subway entrance! cool! so far no bike rack installed yet, so people are enjoying a much easier walk at that location.
2) Another Japanese Restaurant! This new place is located in between Sea and American Apparel. I didn’t see the name, but the sign said bar sushi, it’s a sushi, lounge, bar place. Looks cool from the outside and the price is decent too. It’s probably not gonna be classy Japanese style like Zenkichi, but from the look of it, it will be stylish and hip instead. It’s time to drag my friends over to try it out!!
3) The hotties in Williamsburg are even hotter under this weather! It was such an enjoyable walk even if I was sweating like hell. I encounter another cutie in the subway while I was going into the city, he was sitting across me with green tee and brown pants and with a black ipod and regular white earbud. He did this most amazing thing – there was an empty bottle rolling on the floor attacking people’s feet, he picked it up, hold it until the train reach the station, get out and throw it to the garbage can!!! Seriously nowadays where can you find someone so socially responsible?? He’s so attractive to me after what I witnessed!!

I got to J&R and found my keyboard – then an impulse buy – well, not so much an impulse buy because i wanted this thing for a while (at least ever since I saw it in iLounge.com last year) – JBL’s Spyro speakers!! The flower like speakers with a UFO like subwoofer is so adorable! It took me some time to decide to buy it though, I was like a shark circling my prey for like 5 times – walking around the shelf where the speakers was. Anyhow, that was my day~
