My Moon
Finally have a chance to try out another awesome looking Williamsburg restaurant – My Moon. The name obviously make me think of Feist’s hit song My Moon My Man – which played in my head the whole time I was there. Anyway, this Mediterranean/Turkish restaurant is located in a boiler room of a former factory. The transformation is stunning. I am not that into mediterranean or turkish food, but the place is too tempting not to try out. Just like many of the restaurants in Williamsburg, it is spacious with a capital S. And with its unique history of the former structure, you can see the restaurant used many of the former elements in its current design. Food itself was quite alright, menu is fill with hummus, kebabs and lambs, your usual turkish dishes. The grilled Octopus on the menu looks delicious, but given my company at the time, I’ll save it for next time when I am there again. I love my drink though, Peach Martini, so sweet~ They also offer regular American brunch during the weekend too. It’s definitely worth trying if you want a Williamsburg dining experience. I was gonna took a lot more pictures but without a proper flash, it’s difficult to get good shot in such a dim interior. So I got some from the restaurant’s website.
