I love discovering new artist. I guess when it come to new music, it’s just like new gadgets for me, I am an early adopter~ I usually listen to new singers before they become mainstream and before anyone know their names. So here is another unexpected new discovery:

I was watching the latest episode of Cashmere Mafia, where Lucy Liu’s character have a thing for her friend’s new sexy “manny” Adam. Now this guy is a total babe and was steaming up the screen. But I know I’ve seen him somewhere before, so I spent 15 minutes trying to place him. (The episode was new and imdb didn’t list the actor’s name yet) Eventually I realize he was the 20 years old Jamie that was dating Tina Fey in 30 Rock’s episode “Cougars”! (wow, seems like this guy always chooses the roles of romancing older successful women! haha) Anyway, his name is Val Emmich. And to my surprise he is an indie singer from Jersey! I listen to his songs on his website and on Youtube and yeah I dig his sound! I will try to get my hands on his albums…in the mean time, thank you Tina Fey and Lucy Liu to put such a cute singer on my radar~ haha
