Impulse buy
Many people suffers from impulse buy, me included, but i believe it doesn’t affect me as much as I thought. Maybe it’s because of my obsessive research everything nature, most of the things I bought I usually have my eyes on it for weeks if not months. Most of them are on my shopping list way before it ends up in my hands. Take yesterday for example, I went out to do some shopping after I carefully studied my fashion bible. I figured in order to mix and match a summer style I want, my wardrobe lacks a few items – most of them are just there to provide a color or fabric contrast. Or as an extra layer to mix it up. Obviously I marched straight to my favorite shopping “mall” – Soho.
You can see I already have something in mind before I went shopping, so it’s very straight-forward without distraction. Just go into the store, find the ones that I want, and then get out. I got the layers that I want but was also able to cross-out two items on my shopping list – a Lilac Polo shirt that I saw last September in Uniqlo, and a black skinny tie. Both items are on my shopping list for a while, and because I am patient enough to wait, I end up getting them cheap!
Funny thing is after I get home, I realized all the clothes I picked end up having the same color palette, totally goes together~
