Mad Cow zombie

13 May 2008 255 views No Comment

I dunno why but every once in a while i would have dreams about zombies~ I tried to avoid most horror films anyway, so I really not sure why. I had another one last night, luckily the zombies didn’t make an appearance at all in the entire dream, but it was the threat of them, the knowing of the city is isolated and surrounding by zombies, that makes the dream scary.

Anyway, I figure if I read more about how to defend or fight zombies it might help me to have a better chance to survive a zombie attack in my dreams, so after some searching, I found out that there’s this zombie survival guide on Wired. Totally worth reading it with its suggestion of weapon, defense, and location choices. Then there’s this hilarious website called If You Were A Zombie! You can send a card out to people you love “because once they’re zombie, it’s too late to say you care.” The most amusing post in the site is the one comparing the symptoms of Mad Cow Disease to zombie infection:

  • Changes in Gait (walking)
  • Lack of coordination
  • Muscle twitching and stiffness
  • Profound confusion and disorientation
  • Rapid delirium or dementia
  • Speech impairment

Wow, it does sound really familiar!!! Given Mad Cow Disease still pop up every once in a while in countries with large cattle population, if it make a leap from cow to human, maybe a zombie apocalypse is not as impossible as it seems!!
