After 18 months continuous usage (I hardly EVER shut it off), my iMac finally experiencing problems and need to take a trip to see a genius. Unlike my powerbook, the iMac is a 24″ screen giant monster, so a trip to the Apple store for me is a logistic nightmare. Without a car, my choices of Apple store is limited to the accessibility of public transit. The 5th Ave store is immediately eliminated because of the closest E,V train access are at least a few blocks away, not to mention …
