New Cast New Moon
- Taylor Lautner
- Michael Copon
- Michael Copon
- Ben Barnes
- Robert Pattinson
The next book in the Twilight series will be turning into a movie is inevitable. Indeed the movie New Moon is announced with a new director and a release date of November 2009. (kinda rush, isn’t it? they better not screw it up by rushing it out the door~) Now the question is, will the existing cast stays the same and who will play the new characters? In the existing cast, the only person that I have a problem with is Rosalie, the actress who plays her, no offense, she just doesn’t fit the description! Another one I have less of a problem with in the first movie is – Jacob, but I do wonder how will the actor handle the character that suddenly grew tremendously in the second novel and transform into (spoiler beep!). Well now news has it that Jacob may be recast. (Truth be told I feel bad for the young actor Taylor Lautner, in my opinion he’s not bad, it’s not most people I talked to just simply don’t find him attractive~) The prime candidate right now is the hunky Michael Copon from the Scorpion King 2 (probably no one seen that movie since it’s a dvd release only, but from the screenshot, he’s fit the description of a growup Jacob better that what we have right now!)
But the biggest news coming out of this new article wasn’t Jacob, but the tiny little paragraph in the end about the possible casting of the new character that will appear in New Moon, the Italian royalty mind-reading vampire Aro. He might be played by none other than gasp! Prince Caspian himself, Ben Barnes!!! If that is the case, then it really really changes things around! Rob Pattinson won’t be the only resident cutie and he will get a real rival this time~ And don’t get me started on the tense relationship between Aro and Edward and the way that Aro looks at Edward and how much he wants him to join the Italian vampires. Once it got translated onto the screen, oh man, my mind will go wild on what could have happen! lol
