Betty’s guys are often more adorkable than the pretty pretty handsome type.  The new love interest for her, Matt, is no exception.  He has that geeky and sweet quality that make everyone fall for Henry the last two seasons, but he bring a lot more to the table because he look remarkably like Josh Groban! Seriously I was half-expected he’ll break into songs any minute!  Anyway, the actor’s name is Daniel Eric Gold, looks like a good fit for America’s Betty~ Their characters will be partners in YETI for the …

Is it just me or the Twilight movies has more buzz and rumors than a superhero film? With the second movie scheduled to be release this coming November, they really have to finish pre-production and start shooting~ But the casting rumors keep on flying in, from Vanessa Hudgens to Dakota Fanning, from Lindsay Lohan to Hilary Duff, even Sir Ian McKellan and Alan Rickman, rumors just flying everywhere and no one know which one can be confirm! Then comes the rumor that even Madonna will get involved! I mean really? …

You have to applaud the new leadership in DOT and the Mayor that keep on trying new things to a city where new improvements normally take DECADES to take root.  Within a year or two, they have already transformed part of Broadway from 35th to 42nd Street into a nice resting area for office workers and tourists, Meatpacking District and Madison Square Park area both transformed from intersections that no pedestrians know how to cross without getting hit to plazas and open space.  Now they are tackling the biggest congestion …

To follow my own advice, I spent my free time today trying out the newly updated Pixelmator 1.4 with a blurry picture of mine that was on its way to the trash bin. What come out of it is a series of artwork that I called “Walking Down…”, It’s nothing professional of course, but I do like the results. Not only I gave new life to a picture that I was going to delete, I was also able to walk down the streets of New York without leaving my apartment! The one I like the most is…

Random idea to save money:
Sleep all day during weekends.
Drink water only.
Eat 12 meals a week instead of 21.
Charge fee when people ask for direction and technical support.
Collect junk mails and sell it to paper recycle company.
Work on time-consuming digital (free) projects like photo manipulation when bored and want to shop…

It is official! I am obsessed with Alter, the boutique right across from me. How do I know? well, here’s how: Despite the fact that I already bought this particular tee from there last month, once I found out from their blog that they have a new color of the same tee, I went straight into the store and buy it, and that is only a few days after I bought a pair of jeans and a funky shirt from them!…

Like a typical Joss Whedon show, the first episode is not gonna blown you away.  It’s usually until a few episodes in until you see the full potential of Joss’ creation.  Dollhouse is exactly like that.  All the excitement I got was the anticipation of finally having another Joss show on the air and seeing Eliza Dushku.  The first episode has your typical setting up the premise, and then you meet the characters. You have your heroine Echo, then you got the fatherly figure, a handler named Boyd.  Then you have your tech expert, …

Looks like that horrible place down the street made itself to the New York Times!  That chicken killing place is probably the single most horrible thing in Greenpoint, (well other than the waste water plant, Newton Creek and the G train~ but the waste plant and the creek are too far out for me to care~)
Apparently the condo neighbors next door is having a fight with the slaughterhouse~ This time I am siding with the condo people cos the entire street is residential, or light commercial, why on earth would a …

During my pillage of retail stores today, I passed by 53rd and Park and found a disturbing scene. Colorless Hello Kitty statues hiding in a courtyard of an office building! I obviously have no idea since there wasn’t anything to indicate why they are there and for what purpose. To me it’s just a bit creepy to see them so colorless, cos I am so used to all the pink and red colors for this iconic character…
