I don’t know why but this Valentine’s Day seems to affect me more than usual.  So to counter that, I use the oldest solution in the book – buying myself a gift! I already have quite a few of items I want, but none of them I can get my hands on instantly.  So I went downstairs to my trusted boutique Alter and picked something out that can wear it immediately!  I got this really awesome Cheap Monday Hector Check shirt that not only is hooded but has this really cool front piece in place of the collar. Color-wise, the black, red and gray mix is also very cool as well.  Combined it with a skinny jeans from the same brand that is probably the softest jeans I ever got, and the Spiewak black jacket I got last month from Alter, it’s a pretty cool new look!

Obviously shopping can’t fill in the time for the entire day, so I set a few goals like double the posts of this month so far, catch up on a certain number of TV Shows and clean the apartment.  Given I wrote 4 posts today here and watch quite a few episodes, I think I achieved everything I set out for the day.  But of course the important thing is that the plan worked and I wasn’t thinking about this unnecessary holiday.
