Dream: Greek gods
gods need people to believe in them, to worship them to have powers, if they become irrelevant, they will fade away. The Greek gods are in that category. Their numbers dwindled. Their power diminished. Sometimes even the evil demons are more powerful than them! The remaining Greek gods made an agreement with the human long ago to reside in an art museum. They combined most of their power to create an reinforced wall around the museum, once the gates closed, no evil can come in. Since the evils only come out to play after the sun down. As part of the agreement, the museum is always closed before the sun down. The gates are always closed before the evil can penetrated.
There are nine Olympian gods living inside that museum. Technically there are only eight, because one of them is a fake. Well, a subsitute you might said. It is a thousands years old turtle that is a prime target for the evil to hunt down. So it seeked asylum with the gods. It happened that one of the gods just faded away and created a void that is perfect for the turtle. The gods were happy with the replacement not only because of the ancient magic and wisdom the turtle carries but also the fact that they don’t have to deal with a public fallout of yet another god faded away.
Generations passed without any incidents, that is until tonight. The demon king figure out a loop hole because human knowledge doesn’t about this museum doesn’t pass from one generation to another anymore. The current museum director is clueless about the gods that inhabited the museum nor the rules about the gates. In disguise he convinced the museum director that something is wrong inside the museum at night and he needs to return to the museum at night, demanding the nightwatchers to open the gates. Once the gates were wide open, the demon king was able to slip in without notice. However some of the gods already sensed his presence and were in panic. Some wants to run for it while others said they should just hand the turtle over. Athena lead the voice for stay and stand ground against the demon king.
While the gods were arguing what should be the plan of action, two museum spirits were busy hiding the turtle. “it should hide with the mummies!” the other said, “how can that help?” The turtle said, “it doesn’t matter where I go, he will find me.” and then flew up in the air and transformed into a butterfly. The butterfly flew across the room, come back down and transformed back into a turtle. The spirits were like, “umm….can’t you stay as a butterfly?” The turtle replied calmly, “No, cos they are here!” And indeed, the demon king’s minions are wandering inside the museum already. While at the main court of the museum, the Greek gods were battling the demon king.
