A zompire is a vampire that got infected with the zombie virus, which make he much more able sustain his hunger and live among human. There are a number of advantages that we, the researchers haven’t been able to figure out yet since this is not a common occurrence. We did confirm that they do not have a craving for brain like zombies. The only one existing zompire we are tracking right now appeared to be just a regular vampire when it migrated to the Americas with the Spanish in the early 1500s, got infected with a local zombie virus and passed himself as human. He somehow managed to become an advisor to the Aztec Empire right before the Spanish conquered them. It is believed that during this time he become obsessed with gold and follows it where ever it goes. He was spotted back in Europe according to some watchers’ literature. Currently we believe he was behind the modern day incident of infiltrating the Federal Reserve.

Most vampires needs blood about once a week or so. A zompire need very little amount of blood and can live without it for months. He don’t even needs to kill if there a willing human being as his companion, which is in most cases because he was able to charm his way around the human society. He lives a life of luxury and believed to be not in touch with other vampires. According to some interviews we have, the other vampires see him as an abomination and want him gone. Unfortunately for them, the zompire have the ability to command the non-vampire variety of the undead. Even though he would not use such an ability lightly due to his desire to keep a low profile among humans, he did use the ability during the few times when the regular vampires waged war against him.

He makes an unlikely ally to us due to our common enemy, the vampires.

As I finished reading Luciano’s profile, I realize my new job as the designated liaison between the organization and the zompire might be a difficult one. My job is to make sure that he is on our side when we launch offensive to the local vampire population. Little do I know that eventually I would fall for him and stand in the crossfire at the final battle.
