Plants vs. Zombies on the iPhone is as familiar as the computer version, almost all the major elements are there with the exception of the Zen Garden, and that the mini games are now rolled into the main adventure. Other than that and some minor visual tweak to fit on the iPhone screen, it’s essentially the exact same addictive game. Just like any other literature turns movie, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief simplified the plot and leave out many details.  The white elephant is always in the room when it comes to children fantasy series that becomes a movie – the comparison to the gold standard of Harry Potter!  It’s never fair because nothing in the field can compare to Harry Potter, even when they are in their book form, nothing can compare to the popularity of Harry Potter!  The only comparison I will make here is …

Despite being such a geeky person, I am still very much on the outside of the comic book world. The comics that I buy and read regularly is only the two TV tie-in – Buffy and Angel.
