Apparently adding zombies to the plot does not make a book less boring! When I first heard of this book Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, I was excited and have to get my hands on the book despite my inability to finish any Jane Austen books because for whatever reason, I just can’t stand them. Luckily Hollywood has make countless adaptations over year so I am familiar withthe basic plotlines for most of her works.
I had high hope for the book since whatever can be more exciting than …

The wait is finally over, a brand new Doctor crashing out of the sky into our backyard. We all have our doubt about how this younger hipster-ish eccentric new Doctor would work and from the moment he climb out of the box, er, the Police Box we all know and love, he own the role! David Tennant is still my favorite Doctor, but yet Matt Smith somehow fit right into the role. I thought I need at least a few episode to get used to him, so it’s …

I definitely like Glee more than I thought.  There is just something about musical on TV that I just like.  Strangely I don’t like musicals on Broadway as much.  The only ones that I truly liked was Spring Awakening and Rent!  Mostly I think is the musical style, they are more pop-rock than the traditional big numbers.  Anyway, Glee immediately captured my attention with Lea Michelle as the lead since she was also the lead in Spring Awakening.  I enjoyed the first 13 episodes of the show.  I just love …

However, somewhere in the 3rd season it found its footing in New York and the storyline was getting better, and you can really see the growth for many…

Pillow Fight, a time-honoring tradition for every kid, got re-enacted in a massive scale for the grown-up in Union Square this past Saturday. I was there witnessing the event (until I can’t breathe because feathers start to choke me). It was the funniest thing I seen with hundreds of people with pillow gathering in the square and hitting each other! Many are really hitting people as if it’s a real war! some people are completely insane! and whenever people with some distinctive look, either dress in …

I really really like this movie, I am not sure if it’s because the story was adopted from a book that make this animated adventure more coherent and complete or something else, but it is definitely a higher quality than some other animated movies (not comparing to the Gold standard of Pixar’s of course) First of all this movie really has a heart. The training dragon scenes is a lot more touching and satisfying than the one in Avatar! And Toothless is just the more adorable dragon …
