My original plan of getting Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow was just waking up on Saturday morning and head to Barnes and Nobles at Union Square to buy it. But in the last week before the release, I just realized that the little local bookstore Word that opened up a couple months ago around the corner from my apartment would probably have the book since it’s kind of a children’s bookstore~ So my plan revised to just heading downstairs Saturday morning when I wake up.
My plan revised yet …

Book 5 is my least favorite book in the series. Half the time I read it I had the urge to write to JK and tell her yeah I got it! Harry’s angry~ Do you have to capitalize every single sentence he said?? Harry come off as not only annoying but disrespectful to all of his friends. Luckily I am happy to say that the movie version is an improvement in that front because most of those annoying scenes are gone. You know that Harry is …

Children Fantasy books are the latest gold-mine for Hollywood, now that HP5 has arrived, there are a couple movies are coming soon, it’s time to pick up the original books in preparation of them:
Golden Compass: I mentioned it at least a couple time, so I am not gonna repeat again. Apple seems to have a newer trailer up though~ It’s gonna be awesome this Christmas!
The Dark is Rising: I never heard of this book, but the trailer that got attached to HP5 seems intriguing, not to mention The Doctor …

One character that I missed from the Harry Potter films is the awesome Quidditch captain Oliver Wood. In the books even though his was graduated after book 3, but we still see him in Book 4 and i believe his name was still mentioned in book 6. He was never really gone even if he’s just a minor character in this saga. However, in the films he was completely cut out after the second film. That just make me missed the character even more especially …

After lunch as usual I went to Borders to read, I spotted a book called “Mugglenet.com’s What Will Happen in Harry Potter 7: Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Falls in Love, and How Will the Adventure Finally End.” Of course I have to pick it up and read immediately, even though I knew I shouldn’t! Now I am totally spoiled! Granted things that were mentioned are mostly just speculation and theories, but they did pretty much have a record of every interviews JK Rowling every done and analyzed …

Finally the first full length teaser for the Golden Compass is upon us. An adaptation of one of my recent favorite books. I don’t know who cut the teaser cos it is kinda boring to me, then again it is still a long way until December so maybe they can’t show any other more exciting scenes yet because they are not finished. And invoking LOTR as selling point is just tacky, His Dark Materials Trilogy can stand on its own two feet! Nevertheless I am excited! …

After two issues and a third one coming out next week, I am getting used to reading Buffy on comic. If Buffy can continue its season on comic format, why not its spin off? Angel Season 6 on comic is already planned, and now looks like they want some viewer’s opinion. Questions like your favorite baddie, the most under-appreciated characters, etc. I will definitely let them know that I want Lindsey and Lilah back, those two evil and yet conflicted lawyers are awesome. So are those two crazy …

For the first time ever…..I bought a comic book! It’s hard to believe especially for someone like me isn’t it? but it’s true, I never bought a comic before. At least not the traditional American one. I made the exception today because it’s Buffy! Yes, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is back with a Season 8, except that it’s no longer on TV but on comic~ I know it’s out today, so I went to the comic store during lunch to get it.
I never like reading comic because …
