It’s ridiculously hot outside. Normally I would stay in my all AC environment at home and not going out, but today I have a mission: The more I watch Planet Earth, the more I want to play with animals that was featured in the show! The only way I can do that would be to play Zoo Tycoon 2! (until Scott reminded me that I can also go to a real zoo – but that’s not the same! I can’t have power over the animals in a real zoo!!) …

Looks like the internet is back on and here to stay~ thank goodness!!I didn’t have a chance to write about Fourth of July because of this internet outage, so here’s a re-cap:
Brunch with friends at Norma’s. Never been there before, I was expecting expensive and tiny portion – but surprise surprise! Price is still what I expected, but the portion is surprisingly big and filling. Definitely a good place for brunch. Afterward we just wandering around in midtown. We found another branch of Kate’s paperie though! …

Anyone know of any good Teppanyaki/Hibachi place here in New York? The experience in Benihana is pretty much sucks! It wasn’t authentic at all. I remember the places I went to when I was a kid back in Hong Kong was authentic and delicious. This place on the other hand, totally not worth the price and I sincerely feel sorry to drag two of my friends there with me. The only entertainment was to laugh at the mishap of he chef and the obnoxious kid sitting on …

Every since I had that weird dream about a Japanese restaurant in a park, I have been trying to figure out the name of that type of Japanese cuisine. I know it’s chinese name, but I don’t know it’s Japanese or English name. (I did kind of figure it out back in April when I was in D.C., but of course when I got back here I immediately forgotten the whole thing~) Finally I found out the name is Hibachi but more appropriately Teppanyaki. It’s essentially cooking …

Ever since I read about this mysterious dish called the omelet soufflé, I have been wanting to get a taste. Here’s a quote of what it is:
They are made by separating the eggs, beating the whites until foamy, then folding in the yolks (and whatever other ingredients you choose to add). Then you bake the mixture until it rises and browns. You can eat them at any time of day. You can also make them savory or sweet, depending on your mood.
It just sound so delicious!!! and it does …

There’s Mac in the title, so you must be thinking, oh bloody hell, he’s gonna talk about Mac/Apple again!! Nope, you are wrong this time. I am talking something not related to Apple this time.
I wake up at noon today and all I wanted is meat! I dunno where is this craving come from. Not ham, not spam, but like real meat! But obviously this is too early for any steakhouse to be opened, nor any real restaurants. Plus I was in no mood to …

I think people are trying to get me fat!! It’s only December 15th and I already received 5 different boxes of chocolate!!! Not that I have anything against chocolate goodies or people’s kindness, as you all know I do love chocolate, it’s just way too much for me to consume alone this holiday season. So without being disrespectful, I am rejecting all future holiday gifts of chocolate. If you are planning to give me chocolate, please exchange for something else…u know, maybe a speaker like this!! (Unless …

Finally got a chance to try out Kyotofu in Hell’s Kitchen. This dessert place has the decor that I like (All white and chic, just like my favorite Apple Store), the main sitting area is like a gay spaceship! and everything is awesome there. The spoon is the cutest looking spoon that I have seen yet, it’s like that tool that the doctor use to cover one of your eyes during eyes exam. The waiter is nice and totally cute! I had the black sesame sweet …

For the kick off of my birthday celebration this year, I went to this restaurant that I have been wanting to try out for a while – Lure Fish Bar on Prince St. I always pass by the place whenever I go to the Apple Store Soho, so obviously I pass by there A LOT~ The place is expensive, I admit that, but it’s not crazy expensive, there are many places that are worst and the food isn’t even up to the level. This place is awesome! decor …
