Ever since Scott introduced me to Neil Gaiman, every time there’s a movie based on his work, I would definitely go see it. Coraline is one of them and I have to say it’s the best so far. Seems like just about every movie Brendan Fraser did involve CGI creatures. Inkheart is no exception. In fact there are quite a few of them in the film. It’s confirmed that Jacob Black in New Moon will be played by the same actor Taylor Lautner in Twilight – unlike what the rumors said previously. I know many people are disappointed, but I think he’s gonna try extra hard to prove that he can play the role given the vocal opposition. Since it’s a done deal now, let’s just wait ’til the trailer for the movie to come out before we start judging. And watch the interview here, at least he’s all buffed up! Yesterday I went to a Harry Potter movies marathon at the legendary Ziegfeld Theatre in midtown. In the words of Ron Weasley, it’s bloody brilliant and yet completely mental! If Twilight is a teenage girl’s fantasy, then Were the World Mine is a gay boy’s dream come true! If you are looking for action or big sequence of destructions of your favorite landmarks, you probably would be disappointed at The Day the Earth Stood Still. It’s more of a thought provoking movie. This new trailer for Dragonball doesn’t look that interesting~ And if the trailer can’t even caught your attention…. this movie is in big trouble~ And seriously, why is Goku white?? the only thing intriguing is James Marsters’ Piccolo and yet his makeup looks like Jim Carrey’s the Mask, so it will be a surprise if this movie turns out to be good~

It is now official that Chris Weitz will be directing the sequel to Twilight – New Moon. There were problems with Catherine Hardwicke’s direction in Twilight, but overall it is still acceptable to me because I did enjoy the movie even if some of the dialogue sounded cheesy, but then again it was part of the appeal of the source material – it was essentially a diary of a teenage girl who was falling in love with a vampire! What else did you expect?
