The area near my job has been getting all kind of big stores ever since I started working here, we have seen the opening of Barnes & Nobles and Bestbuy, H&M is still scheduled to open (although later than they originally advertised.) And now, right at the corner of the street where I work – used to be an Office Max – they are opening a Circuit City!!!! Totally awesome!! I don’t think my lunch hour is long enough anymore for me to go through this many stores!! hehe~

It’s very fortunate that I work in a location that is full with Japanese in the ‘hood. So not only there are abundant good affordable Japanese food for lunch, there are also 3 Japanese bookstores around. Not that I know how to read Japanese, nor have any intention of learning. (I can barely handle two languages! and I am lazy!) I could, in the best case scenario, guess about the meaning of 6 characters in a 50 words paragraph. But in any case, I love going to these Japanese bookstores. …

The only fireworks allowed in NYC should be the one that’s at 9-10pm EST at East River on Fourth of July!!! Last night at 2am some A-hole decided to set their own fireworks outside my apt on the street! it’s not your regular fireworks that last seconds made some weeee and then boom noise, oh no, these are the ones that go bing ling boom pa, like thunderstorm when the rain hit on a metal surface, well, 100 times louder!! Unwrapping all the plastic and security stickers of a dvd is a pain! Why on earth do they need so much security around it???? is it made out of gold? I swear a diamond watch would has less wrapping around the box!!! if the dvd is something that u buy for leisure, for entertainment, the unnesscary unwrapping part is tolerable because u can give what u like in the end, but doing it for the job to unwrapping 20 dvds that the library ordered for the collection, now that’s NO …
