Part 2 of End of Time was touching and disappointing at the same time. Spoiler alert of course. David and Bernard gave some strong performances, especially in those quiet scenes without actions! Those are the meat of the episode! I also loved that final moment the Master and the Doctor worked together to send the Time Lords back, it was this complex frienemy relationship that make these two character interesting! I also like how the two silly aliens that were pretty much a comic relief in Part 1 is actually incredible …

Spoiler alert……..
Writing about part 1 of a 2 part episode is always difficult because you never really get the full picture of the story. Part 1 is always consist of setups and cliffhangers. That is the case here with part 1 of End of Time. What made this particularly an un even episode is that it is also a Christmas special episode! We tend to forget that Doctor Who was a family show in all its history and still is one after the revival. Its Christmas special were always a …

When I first heard there is a season 9 of Scrubs, my reaction was very much like a lot of fans – WTF? it had a good series finale last season already, why mess it up by dragging it out for another season? I was against the idea. However, as people know I usually can see both sides of an issue, and this is no exception. We tend to forgot that TV show is an industry with people whose livelihood depends on. We always focus on the lead actors who …

I just can’t get enough of British shows. Being Human is yet another sci-fi/fantasy show imported from the other side of the Atlantic. However, despite it’s unique setup, it failed to develop engaging plotlines with rich history like Doctor Who or Torchwood. The premise was simple and unique and almost comical: a vampire and a werewolf moved into a house, they didn’t know the house was haunted by a ghost. Now a vampire, a werewolf, and a ghost living together as roommates, trying to live a …

2009 is a tough year for Whoinverse fans. Not only this is the last year for the beloved Tenth Doctor David Tennant, but also because of his commitment with the theater, instead of a regular 13 episodes season, there are only 4 specials leaving fans wanting more. Then Doctor Who’s spin-off Torchwood for some reason also don’t have a regular season, instead it become a one week miniseries of 5 episodes. Of course I was questioning that decision very much, unlike Doctor Who, none of the Torchwood actors were committing …

Scrubs’ finale is the most unusual for a comedy, there were more heart felt emotional moments than any laugh out loud gags or physical comedy that dominated the show for a few seasons. It was very mature and doesn’t even go for those big happy ending that most series finale goes for. Heck, even the main romance in the show – J.D. and Elliot – wasn’t the focus of the episode! J.D.’s inner monologue at the end of the episode, as always, makes you think about your own life. People grow, people change, …

Betty’s guys are often more adorkable than the pretty pretty handsome type. The new love interest for her, Matt, is no exception. He has that geeky and sweet quality that make everyone fall for Henry the last two seasons, but he bring a lot more to the table because he look remarkably like Josh Groban! Seriously I was half-expected he’ll break into songs any minute! Anyway, the actor’s name is Daniel Eric Gold, looks like a good fit for America’s Betty~ Their characters will be partners in YETI for the …

Like a typical Joss Whedon show, the first episode is not gonna blown you away. It’s usually until a few episodes in until you see the full potential of Joss’ creation. Dollhouse is exactly like that. All the excitement I got was the anticipation of finally having another Joss show on the air and seeing Eliza Dushku. The first episode has your typical setting up the premise, and then you meet the characters. You have your heroine Echo, then you got the fatherly figure, a handler named Boyd. Then you have your tech expert, …

Continuing my attempt to catch up on my TV shows, the latest one that I finished catching up is Brothers & Sisters. The first thought I have is, OMG!!! How cute is the new additional to the show, the long lost son Ryan!!! I know I know, I am vain and only notice the pretty boys, but it’s not my fault that this show keep on giving us pretty boys one after another! Okay, so I looked him up, the actor’s name is Luke Grimes. I think he looks like …
