One of my favorite author passed away today at the age of 90. Arthur C. Clarke, one of the last of the sci-fi literature giants, who is also a visionary in technology that conceptualized communication using satellite. His best known work is 2001 A Space Odyssey. Although I didn’t like the movie, but I absolutely loved the book and the entire series. His other works such as Childhood’s End and Rendezvous with Rama are among my favorites as well.
