Apple’s brand new line-up of their notebooks offer me a review of my pre-set upgrade strategy of my computers. Actually there was many factors piling up before this, but Apple’s new notebooks are the last straw to make me think about revising my upgrade strategy that I setup long ago.

After 18 months continuous usage (I hardly EVER shut it off), my iMac finally experiencing problems and need to take a trip to see a genius. Unlike my powerbook, the iMac is a 24″ screen giant monster, so a trip to the Apple store for me is a logistic nightmare. Without a car, my choices of Apple store is limited to the accessibility of public transit.
