March was a busy month for Apple, it released new Mac Pro, iMac and Mac Mini; it release a brand new iPod Shuffle; it released the beta of iPhone software 3.0; it allowed movies to be bought or rent in HD on the iTunes Store; it updated iTunes, Front Row, Airport Extreme & Time Capsule, and iLife. Not to mention this March Madness was actually started the last week of February when Apple released Safari 4 beta and update to Apple TV. It is kinda like what else …

Given that I already got the iPhone and and iPod Classic (160GB! now extincted!) that is less than a year old, this Tuesday’s Apple iPod announcement although interesting, are not something that I would get. My main focus is the software feature that they announced and a certain accessories.
I am definitely interested in their new in-ear headphone. Their old one was a good try but eventually I switch to v-moda’s headphone, especially once v-moda got the microphone version out. My headphone break frequently due to my excessive …

Apple’s marketing department always come up with something simple and yet to-the-point, elegant promoting materials. Just look at their promote teaser for their first store in Beijing, China: I just love the simple graphic of Apple’s iPod earbuds that got twisted into the shape of a lantern!
Now when will there be an official store in Hong Kong?

I never really consider buying a case for my iPhone because I know I am a very careful person, I’d never drop it and the back of the iPhone is not a mirrored finish like the iPod, so it’s not going to be scratch up easily at all. The iPod is another story though, of all the iPods I have, none of them ever leave their cases. Seriously if they were left on their own in a second, the precious mirrored finish at the back would be ruin! So what’s …

The truth is I am not used to the click wheel anymore after using the iPhone exclusively as my media player for the past few months. Not to mention the click wheel of the iPod Classic is a bit more stiff compared to my old iPod. It just doesn’t feel natural and easy as it used to be. Then there’s the new and “improved” interface with a split screen where the album art is flowing when you are navigating the menu – it’s true that it …

Ever since I found out about the sales that is going on in CompUSA because of its closing, I have been checking their location in midtown near I work almost everyday. There’s one thing I wanted to pick up. A gadget that I haven’t upgrade for the longest time – my camera! I got my Sony Cybershot T33 back in Jan. of 2005, so it’s now extremely old! I have been eyeing the new T200 touch screen 8.1 megapixel 5X zoom camera for a while, so when …

I was able to check out the new iPods over the weekend. The new iPod nano is way cooler in person than photograph! People were trashing at the design when the spy photo leaked out weeks ago, but when you see it yourself in person, you know the design is as good as any previous nanos. It is really paper-thin and yet with a crystal clear screen that you would not mind if watching video on it~ I can never use a nano because I prefer a higher capacity player …

Dear iPod,
I know you must be feeling anxious and jealous of the newest member in the family – iPhone. Please don’t be. Your feeling however is perfectly normal – just ask your big brother Powerbook! He went totally nuts when iMac join the family! But soon he realize iMac isn’t here to replace him, it’s just here to serve a different function. Not to mention I still constantly using Powerbook, so eventually he know he’s still very much in my heart. Now you should do …

HAHAHA, look at that sucker ipod imitator Zune – installation error screen already and it’s not even officially launch yet! (and what an interesting choice of background pictures too! looks like those girls are in PAIN because they are using Zune!! LOL) Anyhow, what can you expect from Microsoft besides error screen! it would be lucky if the user don’t get the blue screen of dead!

Is a neighborhood good or bad? How do you measure it? For me besides the usual, I rely on 3 counters, cutie count, gadget count, fashion count, and optional pet count~ It’s not really scientific, but I do believe it make sense~ Cutie count is obviously how many cuties are there in the neighborhood, I usually count it in the subway station, so for example the first 3 stops of L train would receive a full score on this counter!! the 4,5,6 train from midtown to downtown would also got …
