Given that my posts about Twilight, particularly Jacob Black are the most viewed pages on my blog, I just can’t help it to post another Twilight-related news~
So the latest news for the sequel New Moon is the new cast picture for the wolf pack! They casted the wolf members and the first promo image is available.  Noticeable missing in the picture is our main wolf Jacob, I suppose Taylor Lautner want to work out a little bit more before he pose for shirtless shot~ :p

Is it just me or the Twilight movies has more buzz and rumors than a superhero film? With the second movie scheduled to be release this coming November, they really have to finish pre-production and start shooting~ But the casting rumors keep on flying in, from Vanessa Hudgens to Dakota Fanning, from Lindsay Lohan to Hilary Duff, even Sir Ian McKellan and Alan Rickman, rumors just flying everywhere and no one know which one can be confirm! It’s confirmed that Jacob Black in New Moon will be played by the same actor Taylor Lautner in Twilight – unlike what the rumors said previously. I know many people are disappointed, but I think he’s gonna try extra hard to prove that he can play the role given the vocal opposition. Since it’s a done deal now, let’s just wait ’til the trailer for the movie to come out before we start judging. And watch the interview here, at least he’s all buffed up! The next book in the Twilight series will be turning into a movie is inevitable. Indeed the movie New Moon is announced with a new director and a release date of November 2009. (kinda rush, isn’t it? they better not screw it up by rushing it out the door~) Now the question is, will the existing cast stays the same and who will play the new characters?…

It is now official that Chris Weitz will be directing the sequel to Twilight – New Moon.  There were problems with Catherine Hardwicke’s direction in Twilight, but overall it is still acceptable to me because I did enjoy the movie even if some of the dialogue sounded cheesy, but then again it was part of the appeal of the source material – it was essentially a diary of a teenage girl who was falling in love with a vampire! What else did you expect?
