One of the character, Robin, in How I Met Your Mother was a Canadian pop sensation back in the late 80s to early 90s. Yesterday’s episode uncovered one of her lost music video from the past! It’s hilarious because the music video is filled with cliché of songs from that era, completed with an appearance by Tiffany!! Robin is such a different person now in comparison only makes it even funnier.

The show has been taking a lot of heat lately from royal fans because of …

A week off comes to an end, so what did I do? I am too lazy to write a detail post, so here’s a list:
Museum:
Madame Tussauds Wax Museum – what’s more fun than taking naughty pictures with wax figure of your favorite celebrities?
Movie:
Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who – Surprising good!!!!! Steve Carell and Jim Carey are funny as hell~ and a very touching message of tolerance that hits close to home.
DVD:
August Rush – Not as bad as people said, I rather like it. Maybe it’s because I like felicity …

A show that name after the main character of the show. A show that the main character is a lawyer who hear music and hallucinate real singers singing in the apartment. Not to mention whatever the hallucination is, it often related to the plot of the episode. Yeah, it’s true that it is a description for Ally McBeal, but no, it’s not what I am talking about this time, I am actually describing a new show called Eli Stone! Well, except that the main character is …

I love discovering new artist. I guess when it come to new music, it’s just like new gadgets for me, I am an early adopter~ I usually listen to new singers before they become mainstream and before anyone know their names. So here is another unexpected new discovery:
I was watching the latest episode of Cashmere Mafia, where Lucy Liu’s character have a thing for her friend’s new sexy “manny” Adam. Now this guy is a total babe and was steaming up the screen. But I know …

Last night I saw Lee Pace from the show Pushing Daisies!!! He was waiting on line to buy tickets to go to the movies. I was the second in line behind him! I didn’t recognize him at first, just thought the cute tall guy looks really familiar but couldn’t place him in my mind, so I was staring for a while, trying to figure who he is, until when he was buying tickets – once I heard his voice, I immediately realize he’s Ned the Piemaker!! I …

After searching for the mini-episode of Doctor Who in the recent Children in Need special, I come across another clip of the special – where Captain Jack Harkness sang Elton’s Your Song! OMG I love Captain Jack!! He’s not only handsome but he can sing too!!!!! John Barrowman’s version is so much better than Ewan McGregor’s version in Moulin Rouge! The producers of Doctor Who and Torchwood should find a way to make Captain Jack sing in the shows!! hehe~
Update: being a fan from across the pond and only …

I came across another internet TV start-up Veoh. Think of it as a mix between YouTube and Joost. Now you might think it’s a ridiculous mix because YouTube and Joost are the exact opposite of each other in so many different ways! YouTube carries the most common foundations of Web 2.0 – user generated contents, folksonomy, a bottom up approach. While Joost licensed their content from the content providers, contents are grouped by Joost and it’s pretty much a top down approach despite a few social …

I don’t think anyone that I know watches Doctor Who, but this week’s episode “Blink” was definitely the creepiest and one of the best episode I’ve seen for the past 3 seasons! If there’s anyone one episode I would recommended, this would be the one! It’s one of those episode where the main character was almost not in the show at all, similar to that Zeppo episode of Buffy where you see very little of Buffy or those His Story or Her Story episodes of Scrubs where you see …

Joost is a new app to view TV online through the use of P2PTV technology, created by the creators of Kazaa and Skype. It got tons of buzz because of the slick interface that resemble the ease of use of set top box of a TV and it somehow got a lot of backers from the Media companies (probably because Joost isn’t own by Google or Apple or Microsoft) It just got another $45 millions from Media companies like CBS, Viacom, and investors like the Hong Kong …

(* I took the suggestion and switch from high-end PNG files to lower quality JPG files, it should load faster than before *)
